Carla’s Sandwich by Debbie Herman.

My favourite part of the. The story was when Carla brought different sandwiches to school and ate it at lunchtime.  Her sandwiches were chewy and green, crunchy and gooey, some also had fish inside and people thought it. was disgusting.  At the class picnic everyone tried Carla’s sandwiches and they liked it.

The Iron Leg Story

Screen Shot 2016-02-10 at 7.32.43 am.png

One fine day I went to watch my friend's brother's sport day. They were having a race. It is not a
normal race because these kids have steel legs.
I was thinking how they can run with their iron legs. Then, I heard someone said, "on your mark,
get z and go."
The kids ran off and they were running so fast. I could not believe what I saw. My friend was cheering
for his brother and I cheered too.
My mum came with us and she cheered too. It was so nice to watch these children with iron legs run.
